Can I still place an order in the UK?
YES! You can still order your precious metals from us. Our prices remain highly competitive and we still ship to the UK.
Will I need to pay tax for my order to the UK?
For silver, platinum, and palladium as well as accessories, you will need to pay VAT at the same rate as any local purchase made in the UK. Currently, this is fixed at 20%. There are no tariffs/customs payable on these orders but please be aware that the delivery company may charge a brokerage fee in addition to this 20%. Please note that these amounts are out of our control.
Investment gold purchases should remain VAT-free according to HMRC’s VAT notice 701/21, however, a customs brokerage fee might be applicable.
Will delivery times be affected in the UK?
Some deliveries of orders for more than Euro 1,000 may take an extra day as customs declarations need to be completed. Please note that delays may occur that are beyond our control.
Have sales prices changed because of Brexit?
Our sales prices have not changed as a result of Brexit.
When do I get the goods?
Unless no delivery time or the no different delivery time has been specified or agreed for the goods in question, the delivery time is approximately 1-3 business days, as counted from the beginning of a working week that begins on Monday and ends on Friday.
For order values of more than 1,000 Euro to destinations outside the European Union (including the U.K). please allow for an extra couple of days to process the mandatory customs declaration.
Can someone else pay on my behalf?
All orders need to be paid by the person who ordered from us and whose name appears on the invoice. The invoice name and bank account name need to match in order for payments to be accepted.
How do I sell coins and billions to aurexi.com?
We don’t buy coins and bullions from a person.
Can I have my order shipped to a P.O. Box?
Unfortunately, we cannot ship to a P.O. Box. All shipments need to be signed for upon delivery and we, therefore, need to ship to an address where somebody is available for signature.
How much does it cost to transfer money into your account?
If you are located in the European Union and in a Euro country you can use our IBAN and BIC-codes. In most cases, you pay the same fee as for a domestic money transfer.
Is it possible to pick up the coins in your office and pay cash??
For security reasons we do not hold any stock at our office and we do not accept cash payments.
Do you notify HMRC about my purchases? (UK clients only)
According to HMRC’s regulations, we will ask you for certified and recent proof of address and certified proof of identity when you make gold purchases worth 5,000 GBP in a single transaction or worth 10,000 GBP in several transactions in the course of 12 months. We will not proactively send these documents to HMRC but keep them on file together with your order details and invoice in case HMRC wishes to check.
Should I ship the order to my personal or business address?
You should choose an address where someone is available to receive parcel delivery during business hours. Often your business address is the best choice.
How can I pay?
Payment is to be made by bank transfer to our account or PayPal. Payment is possible in EUR. We do not accept Bitcoins.
I’ve ordered online – what happens then?
We will send you an invoice and ask for your payment. Please pay the same day, or at the latest, the day after as we are expecting your payment to have cleared within three working days. After receiving the money we will ship your purchase to the required address.
I’ve ordered but I didn’t get a confirmation?
Within 24 hours after ordering, you should receive an invoice via e-mail (except Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays). Please check your spam filter to ensure our messages reach you. If you don´t get a confirmation within 24 hours of a business day, please send us an email or call us.
Is there any taxes or VAT on my orders?
We are located in Estonia (within the European Union), when buying from us in Estonia, you will not have to pay any additional taxes or VAT accordingly to Estonian law. Depending on which country you are importing the coins to, you might have to pay import taxes, you must consult with your local authorities.
